Roy Spence is an Austin advertising legend. He’s a founding member of GSD&M, one of the most celebrated and impactful advertising agencies over the past few decades. Along with his work in advertising, Roy has found time to create The Purpose Institute, write a WSJ best-selling book, It’s Not What You Sell: It’s What You Stand For, and start a hot sauce company out of an airstream trailer.

  2. Wow, I have been trying to frame my response to the nonsense in Washington and R.S. hit the nail on the head. We need to create our way out of this…not bragging about how we avoided the mess, but inspiring with stories of mountains that we have climbed!

    • I’m intrigued by what Roy and others are doing under the Conscious Capitalism banner. We need influential thinkers and companies reframing how capitalism is the solution if done correctly – creating new value exchanges, contributing to society and creating jobs.
